Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is configured on the production domain and loads only after you accept analytics. When enabled with your consent, it measures page views, approximate countries, referring platforms, campaign tags, and reading engagement. It records a qualified article read only after at least 30 seconds of active reading and reaching halfway through an article.
We use basic consent: rejecting analytics keeps the Google tag from loading. Advertising consent remains denied, Google signals are disabled, and there are no Google Ads tags. We send only approved campaign parameters and do not deliberately send names, email addresses or private text. Counts can be incomplete when visitors reject tracking or block scripts.
Your choice
Your analytics preference is stored in your browser until you change it or clear site storage. Analytics cookies, when accepted, can identify returning browser visits. Session storage prevents the same qualified reading event from repeating within a browser session. You can withdraw consent below. Withdrawal clears this site’s Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the tag.
Hosting and content services
The intended production hosting provider is Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Articles are managed in Sanity and exported as HTML. If a guide contains a photograph, your browser requests image variants from Sanity’s image CDN. Those providers may process technical delivery logs. Local previews use your local development server.
Search and external links
Google Search Console reports how pages appear in Google Search; it does not add a tracking script to this site. External links take you to other services with their own privacy practices.
Provider information and retention
See Google’s privacy policy, Cloudflare’s privacy policy, and Sanity’s privacy policy. Analytics retention and account settings must be reviewed by the owner before launch. Provider log retention follows their terms and the configured account settings. Privacy requests and rights depend on applicable law; use the owner contact above once available.
